CHURCH@THEPINES

We plan on returning to Church at the Pines school next week on Sunday the 5th September. We will ask you to be respectful of each other and not mix too closely, at least to start with. We will ask you to use the hand sanitizers that are provided. Whilst we are not making the wearing of face masks a requirement, you may feel more confident if you do wear one.

We will not serve coffee for the first few weeks, until we are certain that things are working out well.

Peter is due to be taking the service and it will be all age worship.

Hazel and I will not be there on the 5th, we will be in Shetland on holiday. I am very grateful for the offers of help that I have had so far, I am sure that more would be welcome. In particular someone to run the tech desk would be most appreciated.

The school now have a plasma screen, which is very easy to use. The sound is excellent, but we will still need to use our own system for the microphones

Please let me know if you can help with this or any of these jobs.

It would be helpful if you could let me know if you do not feel comfortable in returning to worship in the school. If there are a number of people in this situation we will try and live stream and record the service to be viewed at a later time.

Blessing and best wishes,
Brian

Welcome to The Church At The Pines

We are an informal group of Christians who meet together on Sundays to worship God. Our aim is to do this in a way that is meaningful and friendly, discovering the relevance of faith in life today. We are an Anglican/ Methodist Church and welcome all ages to come and enjoy our weekly Sunday services (11am) and our weekday activities.

Inclusive Church

Inclusive Church is a network of churches, groups and individuals uniting together around a shared vision:

"We believe in inclusive Church - church which does not discriminate, on any level, on grounds of economic power, gender, mental health, physical ability, race or sexuality. We believe in a Church which welcomes and serves all people in the name of Jesus Christ; which is scripturally faithful; which seeks to proclaim the Gospel afresh for each generation; and which, in the power of the Holy Spirit, allows all people to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Jesus Christ." https://www.inclusive-church.org/

We at Church@thePines fully endorse this and as a fully inclusive, diverse church believe this should be recognised publicly.
