Pauline Matondo

I am a lay pastor and a local preacher, a role I've been blessed to serve in since 2019. Our church is a vibrant and diverse community, something I deeply appreciate and love about our congregation.

Having lived in Bracknell for over 20 years, this town holds a special place in my heart. I’m blessed with two wonderful daughters who have both completed their university studies and are now thriving in their careers.

Our church is a welcoming space for everyone, and I look forward to connecting with you, whether you're a long-time member or a first-time visitor.

Hazel Gennery

I was involved in the setting up of Church @ the Pines and have been part of the Leadership Team ever since. I am minute taker for Church and Leadership meetings as well as a member of the choir. I am also part of the welcome team for Sunday worship.

Ben Spain

Ben is our treasurer. He has been a part of the Church @ the Pines for many years, attending with his wife and their 3 children.

Nicky Hartley

I'm one of the Sunday School leaders. We are very blessed to have so many young people in our Church, with those aged 4 and upwards coming along to our Sunday School during Sunday worship. We have a lovely room that we meet in just next to the main hall where services are held, and we're always delighted to welcome new families to our church community.

Alison Evans

I am a teacher in a local secondary school and have lived in Bracknell for a number of years.  I enjoy being part of a diverse and inclusive community church and being involved with the musical life of the church.

Sarah Cooper

Sarah has been worshipping at C@P since 2015. She works for a children’s charity, has two teenage children and a cat! Within the Church Sarah usually plays the flute for hymns, sometimes the piano, and enjoys being one of the Sunday School leaders. Sarah is also responsible for much of the admin that is needded for the church, putting together the slides for services, arranigng the rota and sending our weekly newsletter.

Weekly Prayer

Almighty God, we thank you for the richness and diversity of each unqiue person. Your church across the whole world is a body made up of many different parts, with different ways of praising and worshipping you. May we respect each other's differences nad help us to unite together in one faith. We pray for those Christians who don't have the privilege of worshipping in freedom; for those persecuted for their faith. We pray for their safety and for organisations who support them.

We pray for our homes and our neighbours, our family and friends, all with different needs, hopes and problems. Help us to understand your house has room for all and may we love all our siblings with the same generous love you have showered upon us.
