Pauline Matondo

I am a lay pastor and a local preacher, a role I’ve been blessed to serve in since 2019. Our church is a vibrant and diverse community, something I deeply appreciate and love about our congregation.

Having lived in Bracknell for over 20 years, this town holds a special place in my heart. I’m blessed with two wonderful daughters who have both completed their university studies and are now thriving in their careers.

As part of our community outreach, I serve as a volunteer chaplain with the Fire and Rescue Service, providing pastoral support to firefighters and staff, sharing in both their joys and challenges.

Our church is a welcoming space for everyone, and I look forward to connecting with you, whether you’re a long-time member or a first-time visitor.

Hazel Gennery

I was involved in the setting up of Church @ the Pines and have been part of the Leadership Team ever since. I am minute taker for Church and Leadership meetings as well as a member of the choir. I am also part of the welcome team for Sunday worship.

Ben is our treasurer. He has been a part of the Church @ the Pines for many years, attending with his wife and their 3 children.

Linda Lewis

My name is Linda and I have been worshipping at Church of the pines since we moved to Bracknell a few years ago. I am involved with supporting with the Sunday School. I also host and lead a weekly homegroup at our house with my husband Reg.

Sarah Cooper

Sarah has been worshipping at C@P since 2015. She works for a children’s charity, has two teenage children and a cat! Within the Church Sarah usually plays the flute for hymns, sometimes the piano, and enjoys being one of the Sunday School leaders. Sarah is also responsible for much of the admin that is needed for the church, putting together the slides for services, arranigng the rota and sending our weekly newsletter.

Monthly Prayer

Loving God, in an age of change and uncertainty, we turn to you — our steady refuge and unshakable hope. As our nation faces challenges — in community, in economy, in the care of our world —teach us to listen with compassion, to act with justice, and to seek peace in all things. Bless those who serve in public life, those who care for others, and those whose quiet faithfulness holds families and communities together. Where there is division, sow your unity. Where there is despair, plant hope. Where hearts are weary, bring rest and renewal. Help us to be good stewards of creation, to protect the vulnerable, and to live as people shaped by grace and mercy.

We give thanks for the safe arrival of new babies, especially the recent addition to our congregation. We pray for all families as they adapt to these new beginnings. We also pray for families who are finding it hard, either to grow their family, or in family relationships.

We pray for all those known to us who are unwell, recovering, grieving or seeking your guidance.

We pray for our local community. May they know your love and peace in their lives. Amen.
